クラスでおにぎりアクションというイベントをはなしました。ここはおにぎりアクションのしょうかいです。そして、私のコメントです。

By taking photos of onigiri and posting them on social media, free food is donated by sponsors. It is related with World Food Day on October 16th, which was established by the United Nations as a day for everyone to think about food problems in the world.

Onigiri is a common Japanese food made with rice (and other food optionally). I bought some before when I was in China. While rice is not so popular in the United States, it is of vital importance in both China and Japan. Actually, thanks to rapid development of technology for agriculture, rice production has been significantly increased, effectively reducing hunger and poverty issues in some central and western regions of China in the past four decades.

In a nutshell, this event looks interesting, and I'm pretty sure that it will help a lot of people in need.
