Learning Japanese!

こんにちは。グオです。かんじは「郭」です。 出身は中国の太原です。とてもきれいなまちですよ。趣味はおんがくです。色々なおんがくが好きです。そして、ゲームや旅行や料理も好きです。 ノートルダム大学のコンピュータ学部の大学院生です。ノートルダム大学は古いですが、すごく大きいです。きれいなキャンパスですね。フットボールのチームはとても有名です。私もよくフットボールゲームをみます。 私はまだ日本語を勉強します。だから、このじこしょうかいで英語も話します。 I'm a 3rd year PhD student now, but please don't hesitate to discuss with me. 私のしゅっしんは中国（ちゅうごく）の太原（たいげん）です。 Taiyuan on the Map たいげんのれきしはふるいですが、まちはとてもあたらしいです。The city develops to both sides of the Fen River, where a park goes several kilometers along the river. こうえんはすごくきれいです。こどものとき、よくこうえんでともだちといっしょにあそびましだ。 Sunset views by the Fen River なつのとき、まちはちょっとあついです。それから、ふゆのとき、まちはちょっとさむいです。But basically the weather is still pretty good and comforting all over the year. Night time. I used to take some exercise in the summer evening. The park at this time is cool and has a good view, yet flying bugs near the river are also quite a lot. Along more than 2,500 years of history, Taiyuan has a lot of cultural heritages as well. 京都（きょうと　Kyoto） is located in Kyoto Prefecture, Kansai Region, Japan. Kyoto is considered the cultural capital of Japan and is a major tourist destination. こんしゅうのどようびにかのじょといっしょにMichigan Cityにいきました。 ビーチであそびました。わたしはおよぎますが、かのじょはおよぎません。だから、わたしたちはビーチでさんぽしました。 あとで、Outletsにいきました。たくさんかいものにいきました。かのじょのclothesやshoesがかいました。おもしろいしょうてんもいきました。いろいろなアニメやまんがのものがありました。 それから、Chili'sのレストランでばんごはんをたべました。メキシコりょうりをたべました。 (So hungry that I forgot to take any photo here) そして、わたしたちはうちにかえりました。しあわせなどようびでしたね。

わたしのなつやすみはいそがしかったですが、とでもうれしかったです。 ごがつ、University Edgeにひっこしました[1]。かのじょははちがつにノートルダムだいがくにいきます。だから、ひろいのへやがほしいです。 New Home それかた、ろくがつとしちがつ、キャンパスでコンピュータのけんきゅうをしました。すごくいそがしかったです。 そして、はちがつ、シカゴにいきました。シカゴのくうこう[2]でかのじょにあいました。とでもしあわせでした。 We reunited after TWO years! それから、シカゴでりょこうしました。Millennium ParkやField Museumにいきました。おもしろかったです。 Cloud Gate, Millennium Park I forgot to take photos in the Park this time :( This one was from my previous visit in October 2021 In and around the Field Museum By the way, なつのシカゴはすごくあつかったです。This was not really a nice season for traveling. それから、わたしとかのじょはキャンパスにかえりました。 なつやすみはしゅうりょうしました[3]。でも、I am pretty looking forward to わたしたちのあきやすみとふゆやすみ! This time I am going to share with you a Japanese song, 布団（ふとん）の中（な）から出（で）たくない. Note: the video has integrated Japanese lines and Chinese subtitles, but I didn't find English subtitles. However, the video itself tells a lot. ;) A very interesting song, isn't it? The little penguin is pretty cute as well. By the way, there are actually a lot of words in the video that have been learnt in class. It helps a lot for me to sort of review them.

私（わたし）は旅行（りょこう）が好（す）きです。大学（だいがく）二年生（にねんせい）の時（とき）、高校（こうこう）の友達（ともだち）と香港（ホンコン）に行（い）きました。 ディズニーランド・リゾートや香港大学やビクトリア・ハーバーに行きました。ディズニーランドは大（おお）きくありませんでしたが、とても面白（おもしろ）かったです。 夜（よる）に香港島（とう）の山（やま）でビクトリア・ハーバーを観光（かんこう）しました。凄（すご）く綺麗（きれい）でした。 それから、 食（た）べ物（もの）をたくさん買（か）いました。香港の食べ物は美味（おい）しかったです。
